Birthing Support/Doulas The word "doula" comes from ancient Greek and is now used to refer to a woman who helps other women during the childbearing year. A doula gives emotional, physical and informational support as well as providing continuity of care. Specific Information Regarding Mother Me Doula Services.

Pregnancy, Postpartum and Newborn Classes Mother Me is committed to offering a wide variety of classes to meet your individual needs within a nurturing, warm, and supportive environment. Our class content builds upon many different global philosophies, as well as the latest recommendations from leading professional organizations.  We take great pride in offering you the best programs available taught by educators with years of personal and professional experience.

All prices are per couple. Please check the class schedule for specific dates and times. We recommend taking classes in your third trimester, prior to your 36th week of pregnancy.

Breastfeeding clinic Come and join us for a weekly drop-in breastfeeding clinic with lactation consultant Jane O'Connor where you will receive gentle reassurance and advice whether you are a first time Mom or need a refresher. Thursday, 9:45-11am at Mother Me Inc. $30 cash or check.

Consulting How do you envision your birth experience? What is the best kind of education for you? What kind of practitioner and health care facility or setting would best suit your needs? What are your fears? Concerns?
